Wednesday, April 04, 2012
The Network of Executive women
is sponsoring and participating in the iRelaunch Return to Work Conference, an
educational event that joins experienced professionals seeking to return to the
workforce with career reentry experts and employers. The event, presented by
career services provider iRelaunch and Northwestern University’s Kellogg School
of Management, will be held April 27, 2012 at Evanston
Hilton Garden Inn near Chicago.
Held four times a year in the U.S. and London, the iRelaunch
Return to Work Conference focuses on return-to-work strategies and encourages
employers and professionals to engage in substantive and quality conversations.
The program emphasizes practical advice and real success stories.
More than 2,000 people have
attended12 iRelaunch events in the last three years: 95 percent of
participants are women, 75 percent have graduate degrees and 70 percent want to
return to conventional full-time jobs, according to iRelaunch. More than half
of attendees have "relaunched" their careers within one year of
attending the conference.
The iRelaunch Return to Work
Conference was created Carol Fishman Cohen and Vivian Steir Rabin, graduates of
Harvard Business School and coauthors of Back on the Career Track: A Guide
for Stay-at-Home Moms Who Want to Return to Work. Other conference sponsors include
Merrill Lynch Wealth Management, Hyatt Hotels and Resorts, Accenture, Mom
Corps and Make It Better. Conference registration for NEW members is only $110 through April 15, 2012 and $140 thereafter (regular fee is $160), and includes breakfast, lunch, all sessions, networking time with sponsors and a gift copy of Back on the Career Track.
